Golden Cove has the service that you expect at a price that you can appreciate.

Golden Cove is licensed for 6 residents. This enables us to provide the residents with the care and individual attention that they need. We offer 2 private rooms (one that has it's own bathroom) and 4 semiprivate rooms where two residents can share the space

• The members of our staff are trained, certified nursing assistants and personal care attendants who will be working under the close supervision of a licensed nurse.
  
  
• All employees will be screened for abuse and undergo a criminal background check during the pre-employment process.
  
  
• The staff is trained to observe the residents’ physical and emotional conditions, and to report any changes of residents’ conditions to the appropriate parties.
  
  
• The members of our staff are trained in CPR, first aid, and are able to record residents’ complete vital signs, weight on admission, and thereafter.

MEDICATION MANAGMENT

• Our staff can assist residents with their medication. The residents’ responsible party will be notified seven days prior to medication reorder.
  
  
• Personal care will be given to the incontinent residents every two hours. The responsible party may provide the following necessary items for the incontinent resident. Or, at the request of the resident or responsible party; these items may be ordered for that resident. A monthly statement will be mailed to the responsible party for supplies ordered. A separate check for supplies would be appreciated.

Activities are offered to residents Monday through Friday and some weekends per residents’ choice. Activities are posted on the activity calendar and a copy is given to each resident at the beginning of each month and upon admission.

Residents are encouraged to choose activities consistent with their interests. Suggestions for desired activities are welcomed from residents, families, and staff members.

Special outings will be available for a nominal fee, as applicable.
